За подготовку теракта в Австралии был задержан 17-летний подросток, об этом пишет Газета.Ru со ссылкой на The Australian.
Как подтвердил премьер-министр страны Тони Эбботт, полиция провела несколько рейдов в городах Сиднее и Мельбурне, в результате которых задержала одного подозреваемого.
«Уже есть свидетельства, что это был хорошо подготовленный план террористического акта», — сказал Эбботт.
Также сообщается, что правоохранители в ходе расследования обнаружили три взрывных устройства. В полиции отмечают, что непосредственной угрозы для общества больше нет.
